Leon Ernest Blackburn, 84, of Minford passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at SOMC Hospice. He was born January, 6, 1941 in Minford, a son of the late Floyd and Ruth (Conkey) Blackburn, he was a 1959 Minford High School graduate where he excelled in basketball. Leon was an entrepreneur and the proud owner of Skyline Family Restaurant and Hometown Pizza. He was a US Vietnam Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Culp) Blackburn; three children, Randal Blackburn, Michael Blackburn, Tom Pitts; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Fern Angle, Fredia Gampp, and one brother, Danny Blackburn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Alley, Raymond Blackburn, and two sisters, Thelma Nunley and Emilene Porter.
