Leonard A. Ruggles, 86, of Rubyville passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at SOMC Hospice. Born November 27, 1931 in Greenup, Kentucky, a son of the late Alva Earl and Martha Fyffe Ruggles, he was retired from Osco Industries after 31 years of service and was a US Army veteran PFC. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Thelma Evans Ruggles; one son, Larry (Karen) Ruggles; two daughters, Yvonnda (Kevin) Shaffer, Barbara (Tim) Duduit; six grandchildren, Misti, Steven, Lisa, Tiffany, Kristyn, Tyler, and seven great grandchildren, Alisha, Preslee, Ethan, Larynn, Robert, Lylah and Maelynn. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Rodney Evans officiating. Burial will be at Collier Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
