Lesher M. Ott, 79, of Lima, Ohio, a former Portsmouth resident, died Thursday, August 16, 2018 in Lima. Born March 28, 1939 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the late Ralph and Marlea (McClurg) Ott, he was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a consulting forester. He is survived by his former wife, Jane Lou Ott of Richmond, Kentucky; three daughters, Terrie (Joey) Ott-Stewart of Bradenton, Florida, Pam Ott-Brown of Sebastian, Florida, Julie Ott-Rose of Lima, Ohio; three grandchildren, Molli (James) Donovan, Cassie Rose, Jenna Rose, two great-grandchildren, Leo Donovan and Claire Donovan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ott and one sister, Marlea Ott-Greaver. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday.
