Lonnie Dwight McGuire, 73 , of Minford passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Adena Health in Chillicothe. Born April 13, 1947 in Scioto County, the son of the late Carl and Dorothy (Canter) McGuire, he was a United States Navy Veteran, a retired SOCF officer and attended Minford Bible Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta McGuire; three sons, Lonnie (Tammy) McGuire, Rodney (Jennifer) McGuire, Kevin (Lindsay) McGuire; six grandchildren, Jenna, Mikayla, Michael, Amelia, Kevin Scott II, Faith; twin brother, Donnie McGuire, and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother in infancy, Ronnie McGuire.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at South Webster Cemetery with Pastor Brett McGraw and Pastor Calvin Ray Evans officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by James Irwin Post No. 622 American Legion and William A. Baker Post No. 363.
