Margaret Ann Reed, 84 of Portsmouth, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at SOMC. She was born November 20, 1939 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Firman M. and Mabel Amelia Coriell Wiehle. She was a 1957 Minford High School graduate, a former employee of Williams Shoe Factory, and Portsmouth Banking Company. Margaret was retired Transportation Secretary for Happy Hearts in Portsmouth. She was a member of Sunshine Church of Christ and Minford Garden Club. Margaret loved quilting, camping, gardening and loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William S. Reed; one son, Brian (Denise) Reed; three daughters, Barbara (Terry) Dever, Becky (Chuck) Jarvis, Brenda (Tom) Covert; nine grandchildren, Chase, Payton, Madison, Catlin, Justin, Audrey, Trent, Rachel, Victoria; twelve great grandchildren; one brother, Marvin (Marty) Wiehle, and her companion dog, Maggie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Patrick Gampp, minister officiating. Burial will be in Batterson Cemetery.
