Carrie "Marie" King, 94, of Lucasville, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 at National Church Residences Bristol Village. Born July 26, 1921 on Owl Creek, a daughter of the late James Albert and Gladys Marie Brigner Rockwell, she was a graduate of Stockdale High School, homemaker and a member of Madison Free Will Baptist Church - Owl Creek. She is survived by two sons, Lowell (Disa) King of Beaver; John (Mary) King of Lucasville; one brother, Eugene Rockwell of Lucasville; 16 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; brother-in-law, George King; sister-in-law, Louise King, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton A. "Jiggs" King, and one daughter, Phyllis Ann Neu. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Rodney Evans officiating. Burial will be at Owl Creek Cemetery.
