Mary Jane Lute, 72 , of Minford, lost her long courageous battle with cancer after 14 years Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at SOMC Hospice. She was born April 27, 1952 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Doran Edgar and Margaret Mae Belle Bramblett Lute, she was a nurse for 30 years most recently working at Bristol Village, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved taking care of people and was a selfless mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend that will be loved and missed by all her family.

She is survived by her companion of many years, JP Raby; her daughter who was the light of her life, Amanda (Kevin) Jones; four grandchildren, Kayden Shelton, Kyleigh Shelton, Kayleb Johnson, Khloe Johnson; one sister, Donna (Dennis) Anderson; many nieces and nephews, and special friends, Stella Bachtel, Jim & Judy Beech. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles M. Lute, Edgar S. Lute, William "Bill" Lute; friend, Nancy Yadon, and several nieces and nephews.
