Michael David Pinson, 69, of Minford passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at SOMC. Born May 15, 1946 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Orville and Olive Bernice Wessel Pinson, he was a 1964 graduate of Minford High School and was retired from Shawnee State University as a Systems Network Manager. He was a 4-H Horse Advisor for 30+ years and past President of Minford Little League and Minford Athletic Boosters. He is survived by his wife Jill (Allen) Pinson; two sons, David (Amy) Pinson of Frankfort and Jeff (Lorenda) Pinson of Minford; four grandchildren, Braylee Alayne (Jason) Depugh, Caleb Allen Pinson, Jeri Elaine (Mike) Tye, and Mikayla Raychel Pinson; two great grandchildren, Briley Kirkbride, Ruby Elle Depugh; two brothers, Ronald (Barb) Pinson of Minford, Wayne (Ginny) Pinson of Wheelersburg, and one sister, Carolyn (Larry) Dever of Minford. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Jimmy Dummitt officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
