Michael  Paul Reed, 56 of Lucasville passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at SOMC Hospice. He was born January 7, 1966 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Paul William and Patricia Ann Allen Reed and was a 1985 Valley High School graduate.  Mike was a member of Ohio Firefighters Association and attended Valley Chapel Church.

He is survived by four sisters, Becky (Bill) Reed, Rita (Gary) Arthur, Tina (Elton) Barfield, Robin (Greg) Ray; three brothers, Guy (Kim) McCoy, Patrick (Anna) McCoy, Timothy Reed, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and many cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nephews, Kevin Barfield, Patrick McCoy, Jr. and Brandon Denny.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Bernie Twinam officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
