Michael Leroy Wiley passed from this world to his eternal rest on October 14, 2023. He was born on July 27, 1944 to Martha Jane (Holsinger) and Alfonso Wiley.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers and 3 sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mildred L. (Parker) Wiley, daughter Angela Wiley Marshall (Bill), son Michael B. Wiley (Susana), two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Michael was a man who loved the Lord. He spent many years preaching, singing, and serving. He was a devoted member of the Pentecostal Victory Chapel in Highland Bend, Pastor Tera Gillem. Many will remember him as generous and humble and as someone who loved to laugh. We are grateful for the extra care given him by his long time aide Diane Derifield, his nephews John Lore (Crystal) and Jerome Hinson as well as his niece Jody Parker and son Zachary.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Tera Gillem officiating. Burial will be at Harrison-Furnace Cemetery in Minford. Visitation will be conducted from Noon to 2:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
