Myrtle Roberta Cummings, 83, of Minford went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at her residence. She was born December 2, 1933 in Grayson, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Alta and Curtis Campbell. She was a homemaker and loved going to church and listening to gospel music. She is preceded in death by her late husband, John Cummings and a special friend Harvey Adrian; four brothers and two sisters as well as two children, Freda Darlene Sexton and Charles Vincent Cummings. She is survived by five children, Linda (Dallas) Swim of New Boston, Mary Rhoden of Greenup, KY, John (Gail) Cummings of South Shore, KY, Deborah (Bruce) Toomire of South Portsmouth, KY, Phyllis (Bob) Donahoe of Minford; 18 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren, and three sisters, Anna Colley of Boca Raton, FL, Freda Holbrook of Bradenton, FL and Betty Harlow of Grayson, KY. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Gary Heimbach officiating. Burial will be at Stockdale Cemetery.
