Naomi R. Adams, 73, of Lucasville, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at SOMC. She was born November 15, 1941 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Clifton O. and Minnie Elizabeth Pinson Kent and she owned and operated Naomi's Beauty Salon for 49 years. She is survived by one son, John T. Adams, II of Lucasville; one daughter, Loresa (Kenneth) Cordle of South Bloomfield; three grandchildren, Noah Adams, April Cordle and Matthew Cordle; two great grandchildren; one brother, Lowell (Barbara) Kent of Jamestown, and one sister, Loreta Fields of Wheelersburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Adams on October 22, 2013 whom she married December 8, 1962 and one sister, Nancy Bennett. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Evangelist David Frazie officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Bennett Cemetery on Piketon Road. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
