Nathan "Buck" Stone, 86 , of Lucasville, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. He was born December 31, 1937 in Acme, West Virginia, a son of the late Roy and Ethel Campbell Stone, he was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, was a Foreman at the A Plant, and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Buck was also member of the James Dickey Post No. 23, and Lucasville Masonic Lodge #465, and Aladdin Shriners.

He is survived by one son, Bob (Cindy) Stone; one daughter, Carol (Andy) Wood; one grandson, Ethan Stone, and two brothers, Lonnie Stone and Danny Stone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Woodrow Sadler, and two sisters, Faye Stone and Virgie Davis.

Buck enjoyed gardening, wood working, being outdoors and helping others. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Mike Musser officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.edfh.com.
