Obituary

Norma Brown Williams Redden, 86 , of Minford, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026 at her residence in Longview Texas. She was born on September 28, 1939, in Scioto County, Ohio, to Albert Brown and Louise Evans Jordan. She was later lovingly raised with the guidance of her stepmother, Edna L. Brown.

Norma graduated from Valley High School in 1957. That same year, on September 28, 1957, she married the love of her life, Lonnie Williams, with whom she shared many years of devotion until his passing in 1992. Later in life, she found companionship and love again with her husband, Lowell Redden. Norma was a devoted mother whose life centered around her family. She was known for her strength, resilience, and deep love for her family, Norma was the heart of every gathering. She carried herself with grace, kindness, and quiet determination, always placing her loved ones before herself. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her sons Lonnie Williams Jr., who passed away in 2012 and David Williams, who passed in 2001.

She is survived by her son, Brian Williams of Minford, Ohio; daughter, Mary Moore of Huron, Ohio. She leaves behind a cherished legacy through her grandchildren: Amanda Sexton, Michael (Ariel) Sexton, Brandon (Alexis) Williams, Rebecca (Jake) Boddy, Bryse Williams, Breanna (Christopher) Fitzgerald. Norma was also blessed with great-grandchildren who brought her immense happiness: Jonathon Martin, Nicholas Martin, MacKenzie Martin, Greyson Boddy, Kinsley Boddy, Jack Boddy, Charles Williams, and Bristol Fitzgerald. Norma is also survived by her siblings, Sue Yurosko of Sandusky, Ohio, Rita Gahm of Minford, Ohio, Judy Whitt of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Albert Brown Jr. of Knoxville, Tennessee, and her step-children, Thomas Redden, Jeff Redden, and Alice Dooling.

Private services will be at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
