Obituary

Norman Bryce Conklin, 81 of Minford passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at his residence. He was born May 31, 1941 in Minford, a son of the late James Stanley and Tharlene Cole Conklin, he was a Construction Superintendent, was a U.S. Army veteran, and attended Harrison Mills Church of Christ in Christian Union. He is survived by his wife, Helga (Sherman) Conklin; one daughter, Barbara (Terry) Cope; three sons, Norman (Karyn) Conklin, Jr., Dale (Melissa) Conklin, Alan (Tracy) Conklin; two step children, Eric (Vanessa) Roberts, Brian Roberts; step son-in-law, Kevin Durio; three grandchildren, Allison Conklin, Christina Conklin, Maxwell Conklin; five step grandchildren, Erika Roberts, Ben Roberts, Austin Roberts, Peyton Durio, Ethan Arnett; two sisters, Helen Ward, Cathy Truitt, and three brothers, Wells Conklin, David Conklin, and Glen Conklin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step daughter, Leslie Durio; one sister, Maxine Jordan, and two brothers, Lester Conklin and Delbert Conklin. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Harold Cox officiating. Burial with be in Gilliland Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Military graveside rites will be conducted by James Irwin Post No. 622 American Legion and William A.
