Paul Wayne Roberts, 74, of Stockdale, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Heartland of Portsmouth. Born October 27, 1941 in South Shore, Kentucky, a son of the late Noah and Anna Aldridge Roberts, he was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service out of Chillicothe for 20 years, attended Rubyville Community Church, was a member of Lucasville Masonic Lodge No. 465, and an U.S. Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Frazier Roberts; six daughters, Cathy Alley, Paula Staker, Jodi Wheeler, Brookie Bevins, Vicky Strong, and April Davis; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and one brother, Carl Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ida Delores Collins Roberts. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Rubyville Community Church with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans and Pastor Brian Baer officiating. Burial will be at Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale. Friends may call Monday 5 to 8 p.m. at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford, and at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
