Rachele Lynne McLaughlin, 44 , of Minford, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025 at her residence due to a pre-existing heart condition. She was born January 22, 1981 in Portsmouth, a daughter of Victor and Rebecca (Howard) Colley and was a 2000 graduate of Minford High School. Rachele loved summer and fall, working in her flowerbed, she was artistic, and loved beaching, boating, and fishing with her family. She loved dressing her daughter Scarlett up and doing her hair. Rachele was a devoted Christian, adored her family and was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend that will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Doug McLaughlin; three children, Logan, Bryce, Scarlett McLaughlin; two sisters, Brandie (Steve) Doan, Brittany Freeland; one brother, Ryan (Bethany) Colley; her mother-in-law, Martha McLaughlin; brother-in-law, Eric (Kim) McLaughlin; nieces and nephews, Blake Doan, Justine Wilson, Brianna Cobb, Whitney Doan, Haiti Melnick, Elijah Meadows, Ilana Meadows, Addison Freeland, Olivia Freeland, Owen Freeland; many great nieces and nephews, and special friends, Shane & Ronelle Jenkins, Renea Freeland, as well as many other close friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence & Phyllis Howard, Herman & Juanita Colley, and her father-in-law, Ed McLaughlin.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Jason Coriell and Rick Arthur officiating. Burial will be at Batterson Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
