Randy Vernon Hale, 70, of Minford passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at SOMC. Born July 23, 1948 in Portsmouth, a son of Juanita Price Hale and the late Charles V. Hale, he was retired from the US Army and United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Lucasville Masonic Lodge No. 465 and Eastern Star No. 495 of Lucasville and attended Fairview Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn (Henderson) Hale; one daughter, Roseva Hammond; two sons, Chris Hale-Templeton, Brandon Hale; one step-daughter, Olivia Morris; twelve grandchildren, Jessica Butler, Brooke Hammond, Levi Hammond, Lexie Hale, Braxton Hahn, Jara Willis, Michael Morris, Isaiah Hale, Bradley Hale, Kayleigh Justice, Aiden Holbrook, Isabella Holbrook; three great grandchildren, Mason Willis, Haylyn Butler, Adalee Butler, and two sisters, Rita Riley and Kathy Reedy. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Sonya Hale and one brother in infancy, Donnie Paul Hale.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Tim Palla officiating. Burial will be at Lewis County Memory Gardens in Vanceburg, Kentucky. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
