Ricky Joe Bentley, 55, of Minford, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at his residence. Born January 19, 1959 in Portsmouth, a son of Louise Ross and the late James "Jim" Bentley and was retired from Pike County Sheriff's Department. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Ryan (Sheryl) Bentley; one daughter, Erika Bentley; two grandchildren, Brooklyn Bentley and R.J. Bentley; one brother, Mikey (Louanne) Bentley; one nephew, Michael (Jessica) Bentley; one great-niece, Allie Bentley, and many other family and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Lynn (Burchett) Bentley on December 12, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Julie Evans and Pastor Dave Roosa officiating.
