Rita Kay Canada, 52 , of Minford, passed away Friday, August 30, 2019 at her residence. Born August 17, 1967 in West Union, a daughter of the late James Nelson and Josephine Irene Setty Harper, she was a homemaker, and nurse's aide. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Canada; one son, James Canada (Holly Peoples); two daughters, Crystal (Paul) Winn, Nikki Canada (Josh Albrecht); five grandchildren, Adrienne Canada, Hayliegh Canada, Brayden Canada, Maleah Canada, Kayden Buss, and one sister, Kathy Reese. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Harper and two nephews, TC Kerns and Austin Kerns.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Burial will be at Pyle Cemetery in Minford.
