Rita Michelle Johnson, 61 of Bourneville passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Adena Regional Medical Center.  She was born November 11, 1961 in Springfield, to Vivian C. Muncy Straight and the late Charles D. Straight.

Rita loved to bake and was an avid crafter who enjoyed spending hours with her mother making gifts for friends and family.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by four sons, David (Misty) Johnson, Christopher (Beth Harmer) Johnson, Joseph (Billie Queen) Johnson, Adam (Charity) Johnson; four sisters, Lesa (Brent) Vandagriff, Melissa Straight, Tammy (Rick) French, Rebecca (John) Johnson; five grandchildren, Aby, Lya, Kym, Nicholas, and Trinity; a niece and five nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon, Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Mike Simpson officiating.  Burial will be in Evergreen Union Cemetery in Waverly.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
