Robert Willis Hughes, 49 of Lucasville peacefully went home to be with the Lord Sunday, December 5, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born August 2, 1972 to Elaine Lutz Blanton and the late James Hubert Hughes. He was employed at Glockner Auto Credit, was a carpenter and attended Rubyville Community Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Robin Buckler; one daughter, Brittany (Josh) Lovejoy; a step-daughter, Dianna Campbell; one step-son, Ronald "Buddy" (Heather) Royal; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister, Penny (Corey) Estes; two brothers, Ivin (Rae) Fleenor, James Earl (Lynn) Hughes, and eight nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one step-daughter, Patricia Hensley; a step son-in-law, Mayo Campbell, and his step father, Earl Fleenor.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at Rubyville Community Church with Pastors Calvin Ray Evans and Brian Baer officiating. Burial will be at Rubyville Community Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford, Ohio from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
