Robert O. Payne, 82 , of Minford, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025 at his residence. He was born June 29, 1943 in Scioto County, a son of the late Edward O. and Geneva (Carver) Payne, was retired from Osco Industries, and a member of Charity Free Will Baptist church.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta (Pitts) Payne; two sons, Ray Keller, Jerry Keller; three daughters, Lisa Crace, Lori (Billy) Day, Vicki (Wes) Smith; one grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Anthony Wayne "Tony" Payne; four brothers, Bill Payne, Lloyd Payne, Gaylord Payne, Ralph Payne and five sisters, Edith Grayley, Violet Briggs, Madelyn Lutz, Mary Boggs, and Phyllis Carter.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor George Vastine officiating.
