Robin Gay Jones, 53 , of Franklin Furnace passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at SOMC Hospice. She was born November 16, 1968 in Portsmouth, a daughter of Marilyn Niner Newsome and the late Cebert Edwin Newsome, she was assistant branch manager for Desco Federal Credit Union and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Paul Jones; one daughter, Taylor Jones, and her brother, Ed Newsome. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Jean Burnheimer. Private services were conducted at the convenience of the family.
