Rosemary F. Crabtree, 77 , of Minford, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. Born October 12, 1937 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Damon and Effie Mae (Shear) Downey, she was a graduate of Minford High School in the class of 1956 and had worked as a cook for DeMexican Pizzeria in Minford. She is survived by a son, Kevin Dale (Tracey) Crabtree of Emmitsburg, Maryland; a grandson, Kevin Scott (Chelsea) Crabtree of Minford; a granddaughter Samantha Crabtree of Maryland; a grandson, Zachary Ausherman; two great grandchildren, Kaylyn and Whitley Crabtree; a brother, Renice Downey of Columbus, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Crabtree, on May 14, 2014, and a brother, Darrell Downey. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Bennett Cemetery near Minford with Pastor Brett McGraw officiating.
