Rowena M. Bragdon Risner, 79, of Wheelersburg passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016 at SOMC. Born February 22, 1937 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Stanley S. and Katie Frances Madden Bragdon, she was a homemaker, a cook for Ms. Perry's Restaurant and attended Cornerstone Nazarene Church nursing home ministry. She is survived by three children; Dwayne (Paula) Risner of Circleville, Pamela Risner of New Boston, and Wayne (Theresa) Risner of Circleville; three grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan) McGraw, Amber Risner, and Kendra Risner; one step granddaughter, Kristina (Thomas) Rose; four great grandchildren, Landon, Ella & Grant McGraw and Charlotte Rose; two brothers, David Bragdon of Lucasville and Mike Bragdon of Lucasville, and two sisters, Nancy Hatzipaulis of Waverly and Dedra Endicott of Waverly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Eugene Bragdon, Victor Bragdon, Burl Bragdon, Darrell Ray Bragdon and five sisters, Frances Munson, Cleo Schooley, Patricia Smith, Golda Wheeler, and Sheila McQuithy Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Jane Jarrells officiating.
