Roy Lee Parker, 62, of Lucasville, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Ohio State Medical Center. Born May 20, 1953 in Groveport, Ohio, a son of the late Calvin and Thelma Bowman Parker, he was a carpenter, a United States Navy Veteran and of the Christian faith. He is survived by his wife, Juanita (Wilson) Parker whom he married on September 1, 1973, a son Anthony Parker of Portsmouth; a daughter, Angel (Albert) Presley of Portsmouth; three grandchildren, Roy Carlson Parker, Cythia Lynn Parker, Albert Lewis Presley, and three brothers, Calvin (Lisa) Parker Jr., Ray (Lucy) Parker, Edward (Donna) Parker, and a sister, Susan Howard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Zaph. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with David Moore officiating. Burial will be at Candy Run Cemetery in Lucasville. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
