Sherry Lynn Montgomery, 47, of Minford, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at her residence. Born February 9, 1968 in Portsmouth, a daughter of Gail (Boggs) Howland, of South Shore, Kentucky, and the late Jimmy Howland, she was a cashier at Aldi in Russell, Kentucky, and attended South Webster Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Michael Montgomery, whom she married on November 22, 1997; two daughters, Kelsie Combs of Minford, Brittany Jackson of Minford; four grandchildren, Tristan Jackson, Laikin Jackson, Ariyah Jackson, Nehemiah Combs; a brother, David Howland of South Shore, Kentucky; a sister, Lisa Howland of South Shore, Kentucky, and two nieces, Lynne Current and Alishia Sullivan, both of Alabama. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2015 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford, with Lou Ashworth officiating. Burial will be in Bennett Cemetery in Minford.
