Sonia Faye Stapleton, 66 of Wheelersburg passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at SOMC. Born December 1, 1954 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Lela Taylor Swint, she was a homemaker and attended Tick Ridge Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Ray (Marcy) Stapleton, James (Mickie) Stapleton, Charles Stapleton; four grandchildren, Rebecca Stapleton, Derek Stapleton, Cody Vaughn, Chelsey Vaughn; one great granddaughter, Lydia Malone; one sister, Joyce Austin, and one brother, Steve Fields. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Roberts.
