Joseph Franklin Schreick, Sr., 91, of Minford passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at his residence. Born November 16, 1924 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Joseph L. and Lydia Faye Schreick, he was a graduate of Wilmington College, retired from Goodyear Atomic Corp. in Piketon and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife, Helen Neeld Schreick of Minford; two sons, Joseph (Janet) Schreick, Jr. and Ronald (Stephanie) Schreick, all of Minford; four grandchildren, Rebecca Schreick of Minford, Bryan Schreick of Chesapeake, VA, Christina (Dale) McGraw of Wheelersburg, and Amy Schreick of Minford, and six great grandchildren, Brandon, Braley, Jacob, Alyssia Randall and Bryson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Mildred Minturn. Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
