Jerry Lee Lawhorn, Sr., 74, of Lucasville, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at SOMC. Born January 11, 1941 in Scioto County, a son of the late Ottis and Blanche Leake Lawhorn, he was a 1959 graduate of Stockdale High School, was retired from Westinghouse & Fruehauf and attended Madison Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by threes sons, Jerry L. (Sondra) Lawhorn, Jr. of Beaver, Jeffrey (Danette) Lawhorn of Lucasville, and Rickey Edwin (Grace) Cook of Greenfield, IN; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Kenny (Norma) Lawhorn of Wheelersburg and Roger (Janice) Lawhorn of West Jefferson, and one sister, Judy Holbrook of New Boston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Justice Lawhorn on December 2, 1994 and one brother, Tom Lawhorn. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 20, 2015 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Kevin Greene officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
