Raymond Leroy Beadle, Sr., 84, of Minford, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at Minford Retirement Center. Born August 2, 1931 in Scioto County, a son of the late Roy and Della Hickman Beadle, he was a retired Deputy Sheriff for the Scioto County Sheriff's Department, a member of James Irwin Post 622 American Legion and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He is survived by two sons, Raymond L. (Kathy) Beadle, Jr. of Florida and Roy E. (Angela) Beadle of Minford; one daughter, Rhonda L. Etterling of Canal Winchester; eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Beadle on May 8, 2011 who he married September 15, 1956; two sons, Michael Stephen Beadle, William David Beadle; one grandson, Raymond Beadle, III, and two sisters, Wilma Blackburn, Wanda Crabtree.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Matthew Blankenship officiating. Burial will be at White Gravel Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home from Noon to 2:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
