Terry D. Conkel, 68 , of Wheelersburg passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at SOMC Hospice. He was born July 28, 1954 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Carol Conkel Leive, he was a pipefitter and a member of the Elks.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Conkel; one son, Jeff (Andrea) Oliver; three grandchildren, Ryan Oliver, Maddison Oliver, Adam Oliver; one brother, Richard (Angie) Leive; one sister, Lisa (Neil) Rhodes; a niece, Morgan (Devin) Frost; a nephew, Brady Rhodes, and special friends, the Bocook family and Justice family. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Richard Leive, and grandparents, Nathan & Leola Conkel.

The family would like to thank SOMC Emergency Department and SOMC Hospice for their excellent care.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2023 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Zack Conkel officiating. Burial will be in Bennett Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
