Thomas Wayne Stevens, 80, peacefully went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 18, 2026 at SOMC hospice. Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace resting in the arms of the Lord. He was born November 24, 1945 in Marion, Ohio to the late Jake and Viola Stevens. 

He was preceded in death by his son, David Wayne Stevens; brothers, Bubby, Danny and Junior, as well as sisters, Madene, June, Geneva, and DoraLee. 

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Daisy Madden Stevens; two sisters, Shirley Hackworth and Betty Jordan; seven children, Angela Smith, Thomas (Roxanne) Stevens, Betty (Rick) Hughes, Jeffrey (Steph) Stevens, Brian (Tiffany) Davis, Leeann Stevens and Joseph Davis; 17 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. 

Tom was an avid hunter of squirrels, ginseng and morales. He was also a phenomenal horseshoe player and softball pitcher. 

Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Outreach Ministries, 4103 Bear Creek-Rarden Road, Otway, Ohio 45657 with Alan Rose officiating. Following the service, a gathering will be held in his honor with food and beverages at Mount Zion Fellowship Hall on Camp Creek Road. In leu of flowers donation can be made to the church Tom loved, Outreach Ministries. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
