Virginia L. Crabtree, 84 , of Beaver, passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at her residence. Born August 13, 1935 in Pike County, a daughter of the late Albert and Lora Ramey Springer, she was a homemaker, sang in various churches in the area, and sang and played at Bluegrass festivals. She is survived by two daughters, Terrie L. White of Beaver, Tyla Jean Crabtree of Beaver; four grandchildren, Jay White, Tonya Jewett, Tammy Sharp, Curtis Crabtree; four great grandchildren, Austin Jewett, Abbigale White, Joseph Sharp, Ethan White, and one sister, Ada Eichenlaub. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer E. Crabtree on November 1, 1993; one son, Jimmy Dee Crabtree; three sisters, Beatrice Leonard, Ruby Grooms, Lucille Trisler, and one brother, Bud Springer.
