Virginia Faye Porter, 90 of Pataskala, a former Scioto County resident, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024 at her residence. She was born February 19, 1933 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Herbert and Ada Mae Day Lykins, she worked in a factory and was of the Free Will Baptist Faith.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Hammonds; one son, Jack Porter; two grandchildren, Todd (Kim) Hammonds, Larry (MaryAnn) Evans; one great grandson, Tyler Evans, and three brothers, Lowell (Donna) Lykins, Gary (Libby) Lykins, Donald (Sandy) Lykins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Porter; two brothers, Charles A. Lykins, Delbert Lykins, and one sister, Diana M. Robertson.
