Wayne Mathew Brown, 73 , of Lucasville, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026 at SOMC Hospice. He was born February 25, 1952 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Lloyd and Freda L. (Hinze) Brown. Wayne was retired from USEC Atomic Plant in Piketon where he worked for 40 years.

He is survived by two sons, Kevin (Kim) Brown, David (Nikki) Brown; four grandchildren, Naniiya Brown, Elijah Brown, Conner Brown, Baily Brown; two brothers, Lonnie (Elaine) Brown, Gene (Kim) Brown, and his father-in-law, Walter Miller.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah (Miller) Brown, and one brother, Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Brown.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Andy Day officiating. Burial will be at Squire Cemetery in Minford.
