Obituary

Betty R. Blevins, 76 of Minford passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 at SOMC Hospice. She was born May 14, 1947 in Kentucky, a daughter of the late John and Vada Musser Long and was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Joseph (Lisa) Blevins; one daughter, Carla (Thomas Schoolcraft) Blevins; three granddaughters, Julia (Jonathon) Lawrence; Nikki Blevins, Amy (Josh) Stallard; two grandsons, Josh (Abbey) Blevins, Danny (Katie) Parker; five great grandchildren, Braylynn Blanton, Jaelynn Stallard, Skylar Parker, Hallie Blevins, Sixx Lee Parker; two great grandchildren on the way, Elliot Lawrence, Carson Blevins; two brothers, Charles Long, Douglas Long; two sisters, Bonnie Bair, Shirley Madden, and lots of special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Blevins on June 9, 2020; two brothers, Gene Long, Billy Long, and one sister, Lillie Chamblin.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
