Clyde E. Leach, 82 of Rubyville passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021 at his residence. Born June 24, 1938 in Eden Park, a son of the late James and Wilma Stewart Leach, he owned and operated Leach’s Barber Shop for over 60 years and was a member of Christ Brethren Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Donna (Brandon) Hurt; two grandchildren, Bryson Hurt, Ashley Hurt; two brothers, Raymond “Hammer” Leach, Arnold “Shorty” Leach, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Janet Marie Leach on January 31, 2018; a son, Robert E. Leach; two sisters, Edith Sullivan, Norma Wyrick, and three brothers, Gene Leach, Ronald “Pete” Leach, and Larry “Babs” Leach.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Gerald Penix officiating. Burial will be at Universal Cemetery in Rubyville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
