Darlene (May) Fields

Darlene Fields, 97, of Portsmouth, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025 at Best Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 1, 1927 in Tram, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Grant and Pearlie Williams May.

She is survived by her son, Dale Fields; grandson, Bryan Knight; one brother, Doug May; grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Fields on May 31, 1995; her brothers, Luther May, Joe Johnson, Gene May, Okla May, Glen May.

A graveside service will be conducted at Noon Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Bennett Cemetery in Minford. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
