Diana Lynn Hutchinson "Sis"

Diana Lynn Hutchinson “Sis”, 71, of Portsmouth, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 at SOMC Hospice after a very brief illness. She was born August 10, 1953 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Billy Joe Hutchinson and the late Sophie Apilado. As a former CNA, it was her nature to take care of people. Diana had a heart of gold and would give anyone her last dollar. She was a “hoarder” of all things FROG. Her collection will be on display during visitation and will be available for anyone to take in her memory.

She is survived by three sisters, Billie Jo (David) Sandlin of Tennessee, Lee (Don) Koronka of Florida, Amy (Shane) Pennington of Minford; two brothers, Lyle Hutchinson of California, Nick Flaig of Minford, and her dog, Nellie Jo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Melinda Hutchinson, and a brother, Larry Hutchinson.

The family would like to thank SOMC Progressive Care and SOMC Hospice for their extraordinary care.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a brief service at 7:00 p.m. at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Online condolences can be sent to www.edafh.com.
