Obituary

Gary Richard Leeth, 75 of Hillsboro passed away March 4, 2022 at Edgewood Manor in Greenfield Ohio.  Gary was born August 3, 1946 in Hillsboro Ohio son of Mildred and John Leeth.

Gary is survived by his wife, Glenna Hastings Leeth whom he married November 16, 1968.  They had four children together, Tonya Leeth Scott of Hillsboro, Kim (Eric) Lang of Wheelersburg, Shannon Leeth of Cincinnati, and Brandon (Jocelyn) Leeth of Hillsboro.  Nine grandchildren, Alec Scott, Aaron Scott, Andrew Scott and Adam Scott, Tyler (Melanie) Lang, Madison (Chris) Flowers, and Rileigh Lang, Reagan Leeth and Jonah Leeth. One great grandchild, Beckett Flowers.  He leaves a sister-in-law, Carolyn Hastings Michael of Hillsboro and Judy Leeth of Hillsboro along with several special nieces and nephews. 

He was proceeded in death by his parents Mildred McConnaughey Leeth and John Leeth, as well as his brother, Jim Leeth, brother-in-law, Richard Michael and mother and father-in-law, Glenn and Mildred Hastings.

Gary was an over the road truck driver for over 40 years, he loved to travel the country and see the beautiful sights.  He also sold insurance and was a car salesman.  He served in the United States Army and had a tour in Germany.     

Gary attended Prospect United Methodist Church and later attended Good News Gathering in Hillsboro.  He was a member of the Wilmington Emmaus Community.

Abiding by Gary’s wishes there will not be a visitation or funeral but there will be a Celebration of Life that the family will have at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Highland County Animal Shelter or Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley 215 Hughes Blvd, Mt. Orab, OH 45154.
