James Dallas Fyffe

James Dallas Fyffe, 80, of Minford, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. He was born January 8, 1944 in Holmes County, Ohio, a son of the late Herschel Robert and Sylvia Mae Shumway Fyffe, he was retired from Minford Middle School and Gahm’s Supermarket.

He is survived by two sons, James “Jim”  (Sherri) Fyffe, Randy Fyffe; one daughter, Leighann (Paul) Morrissette; ten grandchildren, Jamie (Haley) Fyffe, Justin (Sabrina Covarrubias) Fyffe, Jill Fyffe, Katie Fyffe, Romen Fyffe, David Fyffe, Jordan Fyffe, Missy Robinson, Mollie Morrissette, Leo Morrissette; nine great grandchildren, Aubree, Vanessa, Eli, Alasia, Caden, Kylee, Kaylee, Makayla, Melanie; two sisters, Pam Fyffe, Marsha Johnson, and two brothers, Herschel “Gene” Fyffe, and John Fyffe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Mae Smith Fyffe on January 24, 2017; two brothers, Thurman Fyffe, Dave Fyffe, and one sister, Mary Ann Baldridge.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Brett McGraw officiating. Burial will be at White Cemetery in Minford.
