John Charles Widdig

John Charles Widdig, 67 of Minford passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at OSU Medical Center. He was born February 24, 1956 in Lucasville, a son of the late John Smith and Donna Mae Adkins Widdig, he was a truck driver and a member of Laborer’s Local 83.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Allen Widdig; three daughters, Christy (Thomas) Haas, Jennifer (Rece) Snyder; Megan Widdig; two grandchildren, Brandon Haas, Brady Haas; one sister, Gail (Kline) Hobstetter, and his dog, Harley Cruz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son in infancy, John Christopher Widdig.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Bernie Tilley officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Minford. Visitation will be held from Noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
