Katlyn Marie Martin

Katlyn Marie Martin, 28 of Lucasville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at her home. She was born on March 6, 1992 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Carl Martin and Sherry (Jordan) Distel. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Aubree Marie Grace Madden, grandfather(s): Sherman Martin, John Wagner and Carl Distel, Jr.; two uncles, Sherman Martin and Tony Martin; a niece, Adilayde Shea Baker, and a cousin, Sarah Kinney.

Katlyn was a graduate of South Webster High School and Scioto County Joint Vocational School. She loved playing softball, basketball and cheering during her school years and she was a cosmetologist.

She is survived by her boyfriend and best friend, Luke McGlone; her parents Carl Martin, Sherry (Carl) Distel and Eric Wagner; grandparents, Kenny (Donna) Jordan, Ella Martin, Kay Wagner, Eunice Distel and Linda Distel; four brothers, Eric (Nicole) Wagner, Caden Martin, Cole (Tiffany) Distel, Chris (Kelsey) Distel; three sisters, Jordee (Kevin) Wagner, Alexis Martin and Carly Martin; a special aunt and uncle, Lee and Joanne Jordan, and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family members.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Bob Davis officiating. Burial will be at Universal Cemetery in Rubyville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
