Margie Hazel Montgomery-Adkins

Margie Hazel  Montgomery-Adkins, 96, of Minford passed away Friday, November 28, 2025 at SOMC Hospice. She was born February 27, 1929 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Coy and Eula (Horsley) Wright, and was a homemaker.

She is survived by eleven nieces and nephews, Sherri Allbritian, Dave Wright, Stacy Wright, Donna Dietrich, Robin Lavender, Mike Wright, Tony Wright, Andy Wright, Marcia Esper, Dan Moulton; Joseph Wright, and many great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Montgomery; Clyde Lester, Carl Adkins; five brothers, Ronald C. Wright, George Melwood Wright, Luther O. Wright, Claude Wright, Tony E. Wright in infancy; two sisters, Audrey Moulton, Betty Burns, and a niece, Beth Ann Wright.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2025 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating.
