Mary Jane Lute (Raby)

Mary Jane Lute, 72, of Minford, lost her long courageous battle with cancer after 14 years Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at SOMC Hospice. She was born April 27, 1952 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Doran Edgar and Margaret Mae Belle Bramblett Lute, she was a nurse for 30 years most recently working at Bristol Village, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved taking care of people and was a selfless mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend that will be loved and missed by all her family.

She is survived by her companion of many years, JP Raby; her daughter who was the light of her life, Amanda (Kevin) Jones; four grandchildren, Kayden Shelton, Kyleigh Shelton, Kayleb Johnson, Khloe Johnson; one sister, Donna (Dennis) Anderson; many nieces and nephews, and special friends, Stella Bachtel, Jim & Judy Beech. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles M. Lute, Edgar S. Lute, William “Bill” Lute; friend, Nancy Yadon, and several nieces and nephews.

The family gives specials thanks to SOMC Hospice for the excellent care.
