Nancy Carol Lewis

Nancy Carol Lewis, 73, of Portsmouth, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Bridgeport 360 in Portsmouth. She was born May 24, 1952 in Dayton, a daughter of the late Thomas Eugene and Anna Mae (Freeman) Bartee, and was a health aide for Heartland of Portsmouth. Nancy loved to play bingo and was of the Pentecostal Faith.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Lewis; three daughters, Carol Lewis, Christina Ellis, Monica Lewis; one son, Ernie Lewis; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Mike Bartee, Jimmy Bartee, and two sisters, Brenda Lewis and Lois Bartee-Beverly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Edward Lewis, and one sister, Leona Murdock.

Nancy requested if you are going to send flowers that they be white roses.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Friday. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
