Paul “Red” Ronald Adams, 85 of Portsmouth passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at SOMC Hospice. Born June 26, 1937 in Scioto County, a son of the late Paul and Kathleen Conkel Adams, he was a former employee of Waller Stone in McDermott for 44 years and was a US Army veteran. Paul was a member of Nauvoo Masonic Lodge in West Portsmouth, attended Waits Baptist Church and enjoyed old cars and building hot rods.
He is survived by a very special friend, Alice Hamilton; two sons, Paul M. (Rita) Adams, Jerry Adams; two grandchildren, Shane Adams, Jessica Adams; one great grandson, Liam Swayne; one brother, David (Gloria) Adams, and one sister, Estelle Ruark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mareeda McClimans.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Brian Davis officiating. Burial will be at Canter-Wells Cemetery in Lucasville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
