Paul Alva Winn

Paul Alva Winn, 46, of Lucasville, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 at his residence. He was born January 17, 1979 in Portsmouth, a son of Doris (Hodge) Winn and the late Alva Winn. Paul was a Jefferson Township Firefighter, attended New Freedom Community Church in Wakefield and Back Run House of Prayer in Lucasville. He enjoyed fishing, riding 4-wheelers, hunting and being a firefighter. He loved spending time with family and friends and most importantly attending church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kristan (Cooper) Winn; one son, Brayden Canada; two daughters, Hayliegh (Keith) Canada, Adrienne (Mitchell) Canada; two sisters, Mildred Reno, Courtney Winn; one granddaughter, Rynleigh Moore; one nephew, and five nieces. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one grandchild and by his grandparents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Shawn Spencer officiating. Burial will be at Jacobs Cemetery in Lucasville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
